We didn’t just build a platform — we built a solution born from real-life experience, hard lessons, and a deep understanding of the complexities that homeowners and condo associations face every day.

Our story began in a 249-unit condominium complex, where I was not only a resident but also a business owner running a managed services IT company that served several HOAs and COAs. My unique perspective was shaped by being on both sides of the table — as a homeowner navigating association life, and as a service provider supporting associations behind the scenes. Adding to that, a close friend and longtime client in the property management industry shared valuable insights that expanded my understanding even further.

Everything changed after the builder-to-association handoff at my condo. We started noticing early signs of construction issues. At the advice of my licensed community association manager (LCAM) friend, Dietta Burgoyne owner of Waterfall Development, we brought in a building engineer — and the findings were alarming. There were serious structural problems that couldn’t be ignored. When the existing Board resisted taking action, I stepped up. I ran for a seat, became president, and led the charge to uncover the full extent of the defects.

It wasn’t easy. We brought in legal counsel, navigated complex negotiations, and prepared for trial. Just before going to court, the builder agreed to make all necessary repairs — over $8.5 million worth. The remediation took two years, but we got it done. The buildings were restored, and more importantly, the owners were made whole again.

That experience gave me more than a victory. It gave me clarity.

I saw firsthand the breakdowns that plague so many associations: poor communication, missing or misunderstood documents, confusion over rules and regulations, unrealistic expectations about amenities and dues. These issues don’t just cause headaches — they cause conflict, inefficiency, and missed opportunities.

That’s why we created our SharePoint management system — to bring clarity, transparency, and structure to the communities that need it most.
